Court Rules

Please find below the standard rules of court for remote appearances, as set forth by the courts, that we provide video and telephonic remote appearances to on a daily basis.

Please note that every Judge may have his/her own rules.  We advise you consult with the respective court to clarify any differences.

1. Procedure for Requesting Telephone Appearances

A. The attorney/pro-se/client may request a remote appearance by phone, by calling emailing the courtroom clerk or deputy for the Judge whom the matter is pending. Depending on the court, you may be required to file a motion to appear remotely by telephone.

B. Requests must be made two (2) business days before the scheduled date of the hearing. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Potential Additional Requirements:
C. The request must state the reason why the parties want a remote appearance by telephone. If the request is denied then the parties must appear before the Judge in person.

D. All requests for a remote telephonic appearance must be copied to all parties in the matter.
